SetoSorcerer: the Past can effect the Future

The boy and I sat on a bench, myself with my notebook and the boy with a book.
“So…what’s your name?” I asked him.
“Oh, uhm...many people here call me ‘Bookworm’, but you can call me friend...” he whispered.
I looked at him and smiled, “Ok then, friend.”
He seemed like a quiet boy, he seemed harmless...but I have seen him getting pushed into the girls’ bathrooms. And he helped me, so I want to help him. We stayed on the bench for a few minutes, I was writing in my notebook and the boy was reading his book.
“Hey look, it’s the lovebirds!” a bully shouted at me and the boy.
I slid down the bench slightly as people started to gather round and laugh at us. Then something I never would have thought would happen, happened. The boy stood up and walked over to the bully who called us lovebirds and kicked him where the sun does not shine.
The bully yelped and fell to the ground, crying.
“Anyone else want to get kicked?!” the boy shouted at the remaining people watching.
Many girls shook they’re heads and the boys took a few steps back. I stood up and walked over to the boy, “Hurt him, hurt me,” I said, looking at him.
He smiled, “Hurt her, hurt me,” he finished.
People started to walk away, and the boy and I went back to the bench, but we were stopped by one of the bullies friends, “S-sorry about Adam, he doesn’t really like you two…but if you need anything, my name’s Ty,”
“Its fine, Ty…I think we’ve got things covered,” the boy said, taking hold of my hand.
Ty apologized and said goodbye, going over to help his friend up.
“Well…I have to admit, I’ve never seen one boy make a bully cry, that was impressive,” I smiled.
He returned a smile, “Well then…uh, Magic was it?”
I nodded, picking up my notebook.
“Well then, Magic, my name’s Jim.”
